The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC, has ignited a political spark after refuting claims that NASA was denied access into the IEBC Servers.
The IEBC, through an internal evaluation report, stated that NASA accessed the servers 34 times after 54 attempts through an individual known as John Walubengo.
Jubilee, on the other hand also made 24 attempts into the IEBC Servers out of which 10 successful logins through their Representative and Former Energy CS Davis Chirchir.
Chirchir, who also previously worked with the IEBC prior to his appointment as a Cabinet Secretary had been accused by NASA Party Officials of hacking the IEBC Systems and helping the ruling Jubilee party of rigging the election results.
NASA had aired their concerns after Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga’s graph remained constant from the start all through the whole period until the results were announced where Uhuru was leading with 54% of the total votes.
The issue developed a strong argument for NASA at the Supreme Court leading to the nullification of the August 8th General election.
Other competitors who attempted to log into the servers were:
Bildad Kagai with five successful logins, Japheth Kaluyu with 3 successful logins and an Independent Candidate by the name of Collins Ndindi.
